Spaghetti Tower
For this challenge, my team and I had to build the tallest tower that would hold an egg for 30 seconds. We were given 25 pieces of uncooked spaghetti and it had to weigh under 35 grams.

This is a video of the presentation of our tower. We discussed the engineering design process and tested our tower. Our tower weighed 24 grams and was 11.75 inches to the top of the egg. At first, our tower did not hold the egg for 30 seconds. It held the egg for 25 seconds before the egg fell out and cracked.
After the egg cracked, we had to implement our backup plan. We had to break of a noodle in the lower cage area to try and get it to hold the egg for 30 seconds. Fortunately, this plan worked and the egg stayed in place. Unfortunately, this made our tower height much shorter than anticipated.
