3D Printing

May 5, 2015
1 min read

Today in class, we learned a little about 3D printing. We are starting to design rings to be 3D printed. 3D printing is additive manufacturing meaning layers are built up to create something. Our rings will be made using layers of the same material Legos are made out of. The picture to the left is an example of a 3D printed object. For this project, the 3D printer had to use special structure material to create all of those holes.
