Alternative Energy

Alternative energy: energy generated in ways that do not deplete natural resources or harm the environment, especially by avoiding the use of fossil fuels and nuclear power. Yesterday in class, we had a guest speaker come and talk to us about alternative energy. He told us many important facts, but we mainly focused on solar power. We went outside and played with solar pannels and learned about how we can heat our homes with solar energy.
